On the table this week

The primer on the corridor panels is still curing, so here's where things stand.

KORETH - The 1:6 corridor is built and primed, waiting for its first detail pass. I've been keeping stills from Alien and Blade Runner nearby, not to imitate them, but to stay focused on what scale and light can do when they're handled with restraint.

CorridorKey - The keyer passed its 200th test this week. It's finally stable enough to run shots through without constant hand-holding. I added a live preview and automatic quality scoring, and it's starting to feel like a proper tool rather than a workaround.

This site - I added this log because finished images only show the outcome. They don't show the repaints, test renders, lighting adjustments, failed passes, or the hours spent fixing details that barely register on screen. That's the work, too.

Why I'm writing this

A final frame can show what someone made. It usually tells you much less about how they think, how they solve problems, or how they work when something isn't landing yet. This section is for that part.

Next week

Next up is the first full lighting pass on the KORETH corridor. If it works, I'll have the first real frame from the trilogy. If it doesn't, I'll adjust and run it again.
